Out of Tune
What Lies Behind “Talent”In Music. A VR-Prototype.
Out of Tune is a narrative VR prototype about musical socialization and the question of how the relationship between musician and music changes when it grows under duress. The game concept accompanies a young cellist from her childhood to the beginning of her adult life. This vertical slice shows an excerpt of this development and focuses on the inner conflict between her own desires and her parents‘ expectations. This prototype is a project I worked on as part of my studies, in collaboration with the talented Philipp Lüer.
